Motorsport Operations Consulting Services
Nine Vision works at the intersection of race operations strategy and boardroom accountability, advising manufacturers, team principals, and program directors who need more than advice. They need a system.

Nine Vision is a motorsport operations consulting firm with operational experience across the FIA World Rally Championship, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Our motorsport operations consulting services span the full program lifecycle from participation model design and governance structuring to pit wall strategy and logistics architecture. Every engagement begins with a systems audit. Every recommendation is built to survive a board review.
Motorsport Operations Consulting
Our Core Services
Race Operations Strategy
Nine Vision's race operations consulting starts where most programs are weakest — the gap between strategic intent and real-time execution. We audit how decisions flow from the pit wall to the team principal, where friction accumulates, and what systems are missing under pressure.
We design and implement race operations frameworks for WRC, IMSA GTP, and WEC programs that hold across a full season — not just on debut weekends.
What this covers:
- Pit wall decision architecture and information flow design
- Real-time operations protocol development
- Race weekend rhythm and preparation structures
- Debrief and continuous improvement frameworks
- Program audit for new or restructuring teams
Team Structure & Governance
Motorsport team management consulting at Nine Vision focuses on the structures that determine how well a team performs when the pressure is highest — not on paper, but in the moments that matter.
We define roles, align leadership, and design communication systems that scale from a single program to a multi-car, multi-championship operation. When the team structure is right, decisions happen faster, accountability is clear, and performance becomes repeatable.
What this covers:
- Organisational design and role definition
- Leadership alignment and communication architecture
- Escalation frameworks for high-stakes race environments
- Team culture and performance accountability systems
- Transition management for new hires or restructuring
Manufacturer Program Strategy & Governance
For manufacturers entering or restructuring a motorsport program, the governance model is as important as the car. A program that cannot be defended at board level will not survive — regardless of results on track.
Nine Vision advises on participation structure, OEM–partner relationships, cost-control frameworks, and boardroom-level accountability systems. We help manufacturer boards make decisions they can defend across leadership cycles, budget reviews, and regulatory changes — across WRC, WEC GTP, and IMSA endurance programs.
This is the work that happens before the car turns a wheel. And it is the work that determines whether a program still exists five years later.
What this covers:
- Participation model design: factory vs delegated execution
- OEM–partner contract and governance structuring
- Cost-control architecture and board-level reporting frameworks
- Multi-year program sustainability planning
- Entry strategy for new manufacturer programs (WRC, WEC, IMSA GTP)
Motorsport Logistics & Supplier Strategy
Motorsport logistics consulting at Nine Vision is built on one principle: a program is only as reliable as its weakest supply chain link.
We audit operational flow end to end — from freight planning and equipment transit to supplier dependency mapping and contingency architecture. In WEC and IMSA endurance racing, a logistics failure does not cost time. It costs a race result. We design systems that absorb disruption without catastrophic consequence.
What this covers:
- Logistics audit and operational flow mapping
- Supplier dependency analysis and redundancy design
- Freight and equipment management frameworks
- Contingency planning for remote and back-to-back events
- Supplier contract and KPI structuring
Driver Performance Ecosystems
Elite driver performance is not built in the car. It is built in the systems around it.
Nine Vision designs the physical, psychological, and tactical frameworks that keep drivers performing at their peak across a full championship season, from preparation protocols and race-weekend rhythm structures to the team relationships that enable consistency at WRC, WEC, and IMSA level.
We work at the intersection of individual performance and team system design — because a driver who operates outside a functioning ecosystem will underperform regardless of natural ability.
What this covers:
- Driver preparation and performance protocol design
- Race-weekend rhythm and mental load management
- Driver–engineer relationship structuring
- Post-event performance review frameworks
- Multi-driver team dynamics and internal competition management
How Nine Vision Works
Nine Vision operates on a confidential, retained basis. We do not publish client names.
Engagements begin with a structured diagnostic — an audit of the program, team, or governance structure as it currently exists. We identify where the gaps are, what the cost of those gaps is at board level, and what a functional system looks like for that specific program. From there, we design and implement.
We work at senior level only: manufacturer programs, team principals, and program directors evaluating or restructuring active programs across WRC, WEC, and IMSA. We do not do junior consulting, agency volume work, or sponsorship brokerage.
Every engagement is different. Some are short diagnostic sessions. Others are multi-year retained relationships. The scope is always determined by what the program actually needs — not by a standard package.
If you are evaluating a WRC, WEC, or IMSA program and need operational or governance expertise at senior level, the right next step is a conversation.
